My Teaching Philosophy

About me

Good communication and its role in teaching

In my opinion an excellent interaction in between a teacher and her/his students is constructed on a strong foundation of good understanding, respect, and trust. To effectively measure trainees' needs and wants, the instructor has to initially understand her/his learners and the place they are coming from. The tutor has to be the first to create great interaction, as not many children and parents will reveal that initiative. The tutor should also be willing to express her/his own expectations to the students; with an honest attitude toward her/his trainees and demonstrating an interest for their learning and their lives is necessary when doing this. When the teacher and students realise each other's goals and perspectives, the building components of mutual respect are established. Both tutors and trainees look for and deserve trust as people and personalities; tutors also look for respect in the expert meaning however need to take care of how they go about it. As a teacher, I will remain in a position of management, however I do not want to be an autocratic or despot. I will also have the chance to be a buddy and trustee to a number of my students, however I will not step over the boundary of professionalism.

Teaching, learning and experience

I believe that in order to foster study in the finest way feasible, the tutor has to be delighted about the material being studied, even if her or his trainees aren't. She or he has to be the instructor for the trainees, and explain the positives about each student's activity in a genuine way, together with constructive criticism. She or he must be prepared to listen and compromise, however be strong in her/his choices and promises.

A tutor is not only a tutor but a long-lasting learner. For that reason, she/he should also continue to build her or his wealth of expert knowledge, taking extra courses, improving her or his degree and attending workshops and forums with fellow teachers to exchange concepts and theories and discover new things to offer her/his students the most updated information available.

dealt with earlier in my profession. I make sure that my mentor approach will change as I discover more as a new specialist. That is among the gifts of being human; we often take wrong steps, or learn something innovative, and upgrade. I am delighted about the opportunities that lie ahead.
